Alberta Whitetail
Deer Hunting Areas
Our whitetail deer hunts take place in 2 different areas of
central Alberta. The first whitetail hunting area is in the
parkland which consists of farm fields and heavily wooded
areas on private land. There is very little hunting pressure
and thousands of acres of ideal whitetail habitat. We access
our blinds by foot or using quads. This area is 80 miles southeast
of Edmonton along the Red Deer River. Accommodations during
this hunt will be either hotel or a house camp.
The second whitetail
hunting area is in the foothills of Alberta which is heavily
wooded. Being that there is plenty of cover enables the whitetail
bucks to reach maturity. We hunt the whitetail along cutlines
and clear cuts during the rut. We access our stands by foot
or quads. While this is not a physically challenging hunt,
you will need patience sitting and waiting for your trophy
whitetail. This area is 60 miles southwest of Edmonton along
the Saskatchewan River. Accommodations during this hunt are
either cabins or motels.
Alberta Mule Deer Hunting
Area
Our mule deer hunting area is in the parkland of Alberta which
consists of farm fields and heavily wooded areas on private
land. There is little local hunting pressure and thousands
of acres of ideal mule deer habitat. With the terrain being
fairly open, the method of hunting consists of spot &
stalk. This is not a physically challenging hunt, but you
are always on the move searching for your trophy mule deer.
This area is 80 miles southeast of Edmonton along the Red
Deer River. Accommodations during this hunt will be either
hotel or a house camp.
Alberta Elk Hunting
Area
Our elk hunting area is in the rocky mountains of Alberta
which borders Banff National Park. The country is rugged and
does not lend itself to elk hunting any other way but on foot
or horseback. We will be hunting amongst the spruce &
aspen trees, rolling hills, meadows, mountain rivers and streams.
This is a prime elk hunting location with low hunting pressure.
This area is 130 miles southwest of Edmonton along the Saskatchewan
River. Accommodations are canvas tents with wood stoves for
your comfort.
